Children & Youth Programs

 

St. Francis offers multiple opportunities for youth. Along with the programs listed below, there are service projects offered routinely and seasonal church events for all youth to enjoy. We hope to see you soon!

 

G.L.O.W. - God Lights Our Way

Who: 5th - 8th Grade

Where: Room 212

When: 10 AM on Sundays

Bible study for middle school students. Come out for an hour of learning, fun and worship! Join us for “The 24/7 Experience” and learn what it means to follow Christ in the real world every day. This 7-week series begins August 11.

 
 

Let it Shine!

WHO: PRE-K TO 8TH GRADE

WHEN: SUNDAYS DURING 9 AM SERVICE AFTER CHILDREN’S SERMON

WHERE: FOLLOW THE CROSS TO THE PEOPLE PLACE

During the adult sermon, children will participate in learning a Bible story through acting out scripture with costumes and props, discussing what we can learn from the story and practical ways to apply it to our lives over the next week, singing songs of praise, and praying the Children’s Creed and Finger Prayer together.

Lessons are led by Allison Devlin, Director of Family Ministry.

 

Lighthouse Expressions in Art

WHO: PRE-K TO 4TH GRADE

WHERE: GUILD ROOM, ADJACENT TO THE PARISH HALL

WHEN: 10 AM ON SUNDAYS

Join us every Sunday to create an art project that reinforces the Bible story your children learned at Let It Shine! during the 9 am Family Worship Service. Projects are led by church staff and parent volunteers.
